Glenlands D Unity takes Rockhampton Interbreed.

IMG_0235Glenlands D Unity (P) a 20-month-old daughter of the $80,000 Glenlands Pacific took out the Supreme Interbreed Female at yesterdays 2016 Rockhampton Show.

Unity headed a strong showing of Droughtmasters from six prefixes. In earlier judging Unity had claimed the Junior and Grand championship ribbon. Other victories in the female ranks for Glenlands included the Calf Champion Female with D Unify (P) another of the Pacific daughters from the young donor, Glenlands Olympia (P). Our older females took home the senior ‘double’ with Tranquillity (P) (Yaralla Kincade) collecting the senior title and newest team member Trinity (P) (Glenlands Prototype/Glenlands Lorenzo/Swan Jeopardise) filling the reserve spot.

Heading the charge for the males was the Grand and Calf Champion Male, the yearling, 596kg, Glenlands Urban (Glenlands Pederson). He defeated senior ribbon winner, Glenlands Thunder (P) (Rondel Night Watch) (934kg) and the Junior and Reserve Champion awardees, Glenlands U2 (P) (740kg) (Glenlands Macquarie) and Glenlands J Unleashed (P) (736kg) (Strathfield Cosmo). Reserve Calf Champion Male was the 726kg, 16-month-old, Glenlands Udesco (P) (Glenlands Macquarie). Capping off the day was a win in the Breeders Group.
